I just recently moved away from other softwares to WMP11 because it seemed FINALLY it had some nice features (MICROSOFT, ADD "SPACE" TO PLAY/STOP IMMEDIATLY ... Tools tab and scroll down to wmp11.Click run uninstaller. i too cant find it in the add/remove programs list, even with windows updates enabled... The reason you are able to install older versions of third-party software in my opinion is because they are not related to Microsoft. navigate to this website
Some non-Microsoft programs (such as CCleaner) delete this folder in an attempt to remove unwanted files from your computer. Whenever I add a new music album to a monitored folder, WMP12 quickly adds the new items to my library. Shame really because all was ok for me except WMP12 and cant change it. Windows Media Player Download In my case I now have WMP 6.4. But it involves hacking the files with Resource Hacker and when I tried it it did not work for me. In these instances, the best chance of curing a problem comes when a new version is made available.The usual file repair methods (SFC, etc.) rarely seem to have any effect on I had the same problem and I believe I have solved the problem. its like I didnt click on it at all....Please help / Feel like a fish out of water here...Oper.

Whatever the case may be, thank you for posting your findings here. Although I cannot clearly say for sure, both of my home computers seem to be doing fine when I added my music library to it. III. They said downgrading to WMP11 just for the toolbar feature in Windows 7 is no longer needed as they found a way to force WMP12 into toolbar mode.
