Even running diagnostics don't give a remedy. The problem appears to exist purely between my laptop and my phone. We were able to get it to work by releasing and renewing the IP address, but I'm not sure this is even the same issue you are having. I seem to remember that some phones require a corporate data plan or something for it to work properly (might just have been blackberries *shudder*).
